Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Description

The Superintendent will report to Operations Leadership and work alongside a Project Manager as an equal partner in the successful delivery of construction projects. The Superintendent will take ownership of field operations, project scheduling, safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination from groundbreaking through closeout.

• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
• Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to ensure successful project execution
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards
• Conduct regular site meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and project teams
• Monitor manpower, productivity, logistics, and project milestones
• Identify and proactively resolve field-related issues to support project success

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience
• Experience managing projects within healthcare, education, retail, office, industrial, manufacturing, or defense sectors
• Strong scheduling and field leadership experience
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules
• Knowledge of safety programs, quality control processes, and construction best practices
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel throughout Arkansas as project needs require
• Stable work history and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience managing projects in the $30M+ range preferred

Job Offer

• Competitive base salary of $100,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
