Commercial Construction Superintendent
An award-winning and highly respected Salt Lake City area commercial general contractor looking to add a Superintendent to oversee local commercial construction projects. This is a true field-leadership role with no travel required — all projects are within the Salt Lake City market.
This position is well-suited for a Superintendent who runs organized jobsites, holds subcontractors accountable, and takes ownership of safety, schedule, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through close-out
- Maintain responsibility for jobsite safety, quality control, and schedule execution
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
- Plan work sequencing, manpower, and site logistics
- Enforce project plans, specifications, and safety requirements
- Communicate daily with Project Management to resolve field issues
- Maintain accurate field documentation and daily reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience
- Strong knowledge of means and methods across multiple trades
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain schedules
- Solid understanding of safety standards and quality expectations
- Professional, dependable, and solutions-driven leadership style
