Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects in the Naples, Florida area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diverse commercial construction, including luxury builds and multifamily projects, with the ability to manage day-to-day field operations while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction operations, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within established budgets.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain efficient workflow.

• Develop and maintain construction schedules while monitoring project milestones.

• Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and project specifications.

• Enforce job-site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents to identify potential issues and resolve conflicts.

• Monitor project progress, address field challenges, and communicate updates to the project team.

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality-control checks.

• Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and records of project activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.

• Background managing a variety of commercial projects, particularly luxury construction and multifamily developments.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and job-site operations.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong commitment to job-site safety, workmanship, and project quality.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Florida construction experience and familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and construction practices are highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $125,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience.

Location & Relocation

This is an on-site position based in Naples, Florida. Candidates with existing Florida construction experience are preferred. Relocation candidates may be considered if they have a compelling reason to relocate and a genuine interest in establishing themselves in the area.
