Superintendent - Construction - White Plains

As a Superintendent - Construction - White Plains, you will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day field operations on luxury custom home projects
• Overseeing projects from excavation and foundations through framing, interiors, and final turnover
• Supervising subcontractors, vendors, trades, and field personnel
• Coordinating excavation, foundation, underpinning, structural steel, wood framing, and MEP activities
• Developing and maintaining project schedules and driving critical milestones
• Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, structural engineers, interior designers, and homeowners
• Reviewing architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Managing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, flooring, and specialty finish installations
• Coordinating subcontractor sequencing, material deliveries, and jobsite logistics
• Conducting quality-control inspections throughout each phase of construction
• Identifying and resolving field issues before they impact schedule or quality
• Maintaining daily reports and project documentation
• Managing punch-list completion and final homeowner turnover
• Enforcing jobsite safety and OSHA requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent or residential field leadership experience
• Strong custom home or luxury residential construction experience
• Ground-up custom home experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following:
  • Excavation and sitework
  • Foundations
  • Underpinning
  • Structural steel
  • Wood framing
• Ability to oversee residential construction from early structural phases through high-end finishes
• Experience with custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, architectural details, and luxury finish packages
• Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Proven subcontractor management and scheduling experience
• Experience coordinating directly with architects, engineers, designers, and homeowners
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
