Job Description
The Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Leading day-to-day site operations on major mixed-use, multifamily, and commercial construction projects.
- Coordinating subcontractors, schedules, quality control, and safety performance on site.
- Driving project execution from pre-construction through completion while maintaining project milestones.
- Partnering closely with project management teams, owners, and trade partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Overseeing field staff and subcontractor activities while maintaining a productive jobsite environment.
- Managing inspections, documentation, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Contributing to the successful delivery of projects ranging from $10M to $250M+ in value.
- Playing a key role in flagship developments throughout the Northern Virginia market.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Experience working as a Superintendent with a general contractor.
- Approximately 10-20 years of construction experience, ideally with progressive field leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience overseeing ground-up construction projects.
- Background in multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, or similar large-scale developments preferred.
- Strong leadership, scheduling, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules, quality, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of construction best practices, site logistics, and field operations.
- Local knowledge of the Northern Virginia construction market is advantageous.
