Superintendent Position

Our client is a well-established, employee-owned general contractor with over 300 employees and more than $700M in annual revenue. The company specializes in delivering complex multifamily, commercial, industrial, and government construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. The Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring project success by leading onsite operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and fostering strong relationships with clients and project partners. The Superintendent will oversee daily field operations from project startup through closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all onsite construction activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Serve as the primary onsite contact for owners, clients, and key stakeholders
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to maximize productivity and maintain milestones
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution
• Implement and manage project quality control procedures to ensure compliance with contract documents and company standards
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe, productive jobsite environment
• Review subcontractor performance and support successful project delivery
• Assist with project documentation, invoicing, and pay application reviews
• Mentor and lead field staff while fostering teamwork and accountability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project partners, and local communities
• Represent the company professionally throughout all phases of construction

The Successful Applicant:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial, multifamily, industrial, or government construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and field operations
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and quality control
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
• Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism
• Experience on projects valued at $20M+ preferred
