Role Summary
The Superintendent is a dynamic and organized construction professional responsible for managing field operations from project mobilization through completion. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and extensive knowledge of exterior façade construction practices. The Superintendent ensures projects are installed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations:
- Manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Coordinate and oversee installation activities, labor, subcontractors, equipment, and sitelogistics.
- Review drawings, installation requirements, and project details toidentifyand resolve field challenges proactively.
Client Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with project managers, clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Attend jobsite meetings and provide project updates, documentation, and field reports.
Scheduling & Resource Management:
- Coordinatemanpower, equipment, material deliveries, and site activities tomaintainproject schedules.
- Monitor jobsite progress, material inventory, and resourceutilizationto support efficient project execution.
Quality & Safety Management:
- Ensure all workcomplies withproject specifications, manufacturer requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily safety meetings,maintainQA/QC documentation, and oversee inspections, testing, and corrective actions.
Reporting & Problem Solving:
- Complete daily reports, installation logs, and project documentation accurately andtimely.
- Identifyproject risks, address field issues,assistwith change orders, and implement solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience inproject managementorcommercial construction field supervision
- Experience with exterior façade systems, including glazing,curtainwall, storefront, metal panels, cladding, roofing, siding, waterproofing, or related building envelope systems.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, installation methods, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, shop, and installation drawings.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, ora relatedfield preferred.
- Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, manage multiple priorities, andmaintainproject schedules.
- Experience coordinating with general contractors, clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High levelof integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.

Physical Requirements
- Traverse active construction sites and uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Occasionally bend, kneel, reach, climb, and perform site inspections in various work environments.
- Occasionally move or transport materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Travel to project sites and work schedules necessary to support project operations.
