Superintendent – Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) & Insulated Metal Panels

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the field installation of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and Insulated Metal Panel (IMP) systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing PEMB erection projects and a strong understanding of insulated panel installation. This position requires hands-on field leadership, a commitment to safety, and the ability to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all field operations for PEMB and insulated metal panel installation projects.
  • Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and daily jobsite activities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, customers, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project schedules, manpower, productivity, and quality.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance.
  • Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate project progress.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supervising PEMB erection projects.
  • Experience installing insulated metal panels (IMP) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, PEMB systems, and commercial construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
