Overview:
Polk Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent who is goal-oriented, ambitious, and highly motivated, with the knowledge and skills necessary to supervise the installation of plumbing projects ranging from $250,000 to $8,000,000.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise work performed on systems ranging in difficulty from small basic commercial installations to large, complex projects involving multiple plumbing systems
- Assist in administering the company safety program and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of verifiable experience in the plumbing trade
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing blueprints, specifications, and codes
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, from domestic water to medical gas
- Ability to supervise multiple foremen and schedule projects to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with employees and clients professionally
