Superintendent - Raleigh - Multifamily/Student Housing

We are seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee field operations for a large-scale student housing development in the Raleigh market. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-visibility project from preconstruction through completion while partnering closely with an experienced leadership team.

Description

• • Lead all on-site construction operations from groundbreaking through project turnover.
  • Manage project schedules and drive production to ensure milestone and completion dates are achieved.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Enforce all safety policies and maintain a safe, compliant jobsite environment.
  • Collaborate with project management and preconstruction teams during planning and project startup activities.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and proactively address construction challenges.
  • Coordinate inspections, permitting requirements, and interactions with local authorities.
  • Monitor workforce needs, site logistics, and material deliveries to support project success.
  • Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
  • Maintain clear communication with ownership, consultants, and internal leadership regarding project progress.

Profile

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multifamily construction projects as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
• Experience taking projects from startup through completion.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor management, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to independently manage field operations on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Student housing project experience.
• Previous experience operating within the Raleigh, NC market.
• Established relationships with local subcontractors and trade partners.
• Experience on projects valued at $50M+.
• Experience working for a general contractor on ground-up multifamily developments.
