Superintendent Position
Our client is a well established General Contractor in Minnesota. With a focus on Multi-family, Senior Living, Affordable Housing, Mixed-Use, Historical Renovation, Education, Healthcare, and Adaptive re-use projects, this firm is working on some of Ohio's most prominent and high profile projects. Their commitment to employee success is unparalleled, and they are looking for a strong Superintendent to grow and develop with their resources and expertise into a general Superintendent role and beyond.
The key responsibilities of a Superintendent are:
- Leading and managing the on-site construction team.
- Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
- Attending production meetings.
- Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these.
- Ensuring quality standards are met.
- Placing orders for materials, and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.
- Following the project time line to ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.
- Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.
- Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals

The Successful Superintendent will have:
- 10+ years of experience with a commercial contractor or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability of project teams with successful outcomes
- In depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower
- Proficient in basic use and functions of a personal computer
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- Experience with Scheduling
- Good time management skills
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
