APEC will subcontract most of the physical construction work on this project. The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field coordination of subcontractors, site logistics, schedule execution, safety, quality, access, and shutdown/cutover activities and will report to the Project Manager.

This position is intended to be a long-term role with APEC. Following completion of this project, the successful candidate should be capable of transitioning into more traditional Anderson Pacific projects involving heavy civil construction, water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, underground utilities, concrete, mechanical piping, electrical systems, and related public works construction.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors and field activities.

  • Manage daily work sequencing and three-week look-ahead planning.

  • Coordinate electrical, HVAC, controls, fire alarm, generator, and other trades.

  • Lead field execution of shutdowns, temporary power, cutovers, testing, and commissioning.

  • Coordinate access, inspections, and daily activities with the owner and facility operations staff.

  • Identify and resolve field conflicts and trade coordination issues.

  • Monitor subcontractor manpower, progress, safety, and quality.

  • Maintain daily reports and field documentation.

  • Support the Project Manager with RFIs, changes, schedule issues, and subcontractor performance.
