Location: Central Texas Area

Position Type: Contract (24 Months)

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (40 hrs/week + occasional OT)

Compensation: $50.00 – $55.00/hr + $145/day Per Diem (7 days/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to serve as the lead on-site field authority directing daily operations, subcontractor trades, and site logistics for a campus-wide electrical and life-safety systems overhaul across a multi-building medical facility in Central Texas.

This role requires a proven leader capable of coordinating complex trade schedules, managing site logistics around ongoing patient care, and maintaining strict adherence to infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site general contractor authority directing daily field construction operations and trade performance.

• Oversee multi-building work sequencing, material logistics, and daily progress across campus zones.

• Coordinate work activities, noise controls, and high-impact tasks around critical daily facility operations to avoid disrupting active care environments.

• Enforce strict compliance with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) containment, dust suppression, and life safety protocols.

• Conduct daily subcontractor coordination meetings, manage short-interval schedules, and ensure project quality and safety standards are met.

Required Qualifications

• Supervisory Experience: 5–8+ years serving as a lead Site Superintendent managing field operations for commercial, institutional, or healthcare facilities.

• Occupied Facilities: Proven track record leading multi-building renovations or MEP retrofits in live, operational healthcare or institutional environments under ICRA controls.

• Strong background managing multi-trade subcontractor teams and coordinating work around occupied facility constraints.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and field problem-solving skills.
