The Account Supervisor is responsible for managing strategic customer accounts with a focus on delivering exceptional service, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving business growth. This role requires specialized technical and market knowledge, particularly related to north American production processes, global supplier standards, and region-specific customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for global customers across multilingual and multicultural environments
Develop account strategies aligned with regional market dynamics, regulatory expectations, and global customer requirements
Conduct on-site visits to overseas client locations and manufacturing plants to support technical and commercial alignment
Apply region-specific knowledge of manufacturing standards, material specifications, and processes.
Interpret engineering documents, quality dashboards, and technical change notices originating from foreign engineering centers
Engage with new program launches including overseas engineering teams and tooling suppliers
Support milestone tracking aligned with non‑US development phases and specialized documentation formats
Support pricing strategy and commercial negotiations using non‑US benchmarking data
Conduct financial analysis considering cost models, currency impacts, and regional material indexes
Track account profitability and drive corrective actions aligned with global customer expectations
Understand, root cause analysis, and corrective actions with quality and manufacturing teams
Navigate international quality standards such as VDA and country‑specific IATF interpretations
Communicate resolution plans clearly to customers and internal cross‑functional teams
Translate complex technical and commercial issues across regional teams
Facilitate multilingual meetings and manage cross‑regional documentation formats
Adapt communication styles to align with international customer expectations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
5+ years of account management experience in a global or multinational environment
