Supervisor - Cath Lab

BayCare is looking for its newest Interventional Services, Supervisor in St. Petersburg, FL. The Interventional Services Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations within Cardiology. Accountable for and assists in planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the daily operations. Identifies department needs and develops goals consistent with the strategic plan, mission, vision and values. Continually evaluates and improves the cardiology processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Identifies areas for improvement and implements changes accordingly. Responsible for appropriate utilization of team members and resources to efficiently and effectively provide medical and quality patient outcomes. Tracks and analyzes performance metrics and takes corrective action to address issues and improve performance. Provides team member coaching, counseling, and mentoring. Fosters a positive atmosphere for team to exchange information and ideas and work positively together. Conducts team member performance evaluations. Acts as an advocate and leader for continuous quality improvement activities and customer service. Embraces change as an opportunity for improvement and actively initiates and participates in the change process to meet goals. Monitors department financial indicators to utilize resources in meeting budgetary goals. The supervisor level will report to a manager and must have a minimum of 10 direct reports.

Licensure & Certification:

• BLS and ACLS is required from American Heart Association
• RRT or RCVT or RN or RCIS or ARRT is required

Education:

• Associates Degree in Clinical Area Related to the Certification/Licensure Held

Experience:

• Required experience is 3 years Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or EP experience and 1 year in BayCare Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology/EP and/or 1 year prior Coordinator, Lead, or Charge Experience
