Job Summary

The Supervisor, DC is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure efficient daily operations within the distribution center. This position oversees team performance, coordinates workflow, supports employee development, and ensures operational goals are achieved while maintaining company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides leadership, guidance, and support to assigned employees.
Oversees daily operations and ensures work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Assigns tasks, monitors workflow, and ensures department objectives are met.
Trains, coaches, and develops employees to support performance and growth.
Coordinates employee schedules, attendance, and time-off requests to maintain operational coverage.
Conducts performance evaluations and provides ongoing feedback.
Promotes a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
Ensures employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Performs these and other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities
Supervise and support daily department operations.
Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency standards.
Identify operational issues and assist with problem resolution.
Communicate expectations and provide direction to team members.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Assist management with process improvements and operational initiatives.
Support training and onboarding of new employees.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or related environment.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
Experience training, coaching, and developing employees.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist frequently.
Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and workplace technology.
Ability to read and interpret documents, labels, and computer screens.
Ability to work in varying conditions, including exposure to dust, noise, and changing temperatures.
Ability to safely navigate a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as needed to meet business demands.
