SUPERVISOR ENGINEERING

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Under the general instruction of the Facilities Manager, this position supervises the activity of assigned personnel and service contractors on the hospital campus. A person who performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the facility complex to assist the tradesmen and other workers in completing their tasks. Repairs and maintains machinery and other mechanical equipment and ensures timely ordering of supplies. QUALIFICATIONS Professional/Educational Three or more years of previous Facilities Maintenance experience. Prior leadership experience preferred. Must possess technical skill and knowledge to perform duties. Must be able to follow direction, both verbal and written, and work cooperatively with other staff members. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Valid Illinois Drivers License. Personal Puts safety first at all times Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Prioritizes customer service. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
