Job Description
Specific Job Functions:
- Supervise employees to ensure they are using proper cleaning procedures.
- Train employees in proper usage of chemicals and equipment.
- Inspect all areas of the resort for cleanliness.
- Report all damages and/or repairs to status board.
- Follow up on any calls for cleaning requests.
- Assign employees to complete special projects.
- Complete work orders for repairs and follow-up after completion.
- Complete daily station assignment schedules.
- Type up and submit commendations and discipline when necessary.
- Drive / operate company vehicles and motorized carts within property to transport materials and equipment.
- Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- At least two years' experience as a supervisor or above, in a public area department or similar environment preferred.
- Large hotel/resort experience preferred.
- Previous experience supervising at least 20 employees preferred.
- At least six months in a guest contact/customer service position preferred.
- Knowledge of general cleaning supplies essential.
- Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms required.
- Nevada Driver License required.
- GED or high school diploma required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
