Title: Operations Supervisor
Location: Davenport, IA – fully onsite
Schedule: Typical schedule is 3rd shift, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM, with potential 2nd shift coverage from 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
Pay: $35.20/hr. with benefit inclusions

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader / Operations Supervisor to supervise manufacturing operations and help drive performance across safety, quality, efficiency, schedule attainment, and continuous improvement.
This position serves as the first-line liaison between production employees and management. The Team Leader will provide hands-on leadership on the shop floor, resolve production and personnel issues, ensure employees have the training and resources needed to succeed, and help maintain safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees to achieve departmental safety, quality, schedule, efficiency, and continuous improvement goals.
• Investigate and resolve equipment, process, material, system, and personnel issues.
• Monitor individual and production-line performance and take appropriate corrective action when necessary.
• Administer and enforce company policies, procedures, work rules, and safety requirements.
• Partner with the Safety Team to maintain safety standards and prevent workplace injuries.
• Coordinate equipment and facility maintenance to maximize uptime and asset utilization.
• Manage departmental costs and support operating-budget objectives.
• Provide employees with clear communication, feedback, coaching, and daily direction.
• Ensure employees receive appropriate training, work instructions, and tools.
• Lead departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide production coverage within fabrication areas, which may include primaries, secondaries, welding, machining, and paint.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Four-year degree strongly preferred with 2+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Candidates with a high school diploma/equivalent and relevant manufacturing supervisory experience will also be considered.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage safety, quality, production, and employee-performance priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule Requirements
Candidates must have flexibility to work variable shifts based on business and coverage needs.

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM
• Position will typically support 3rd shift.
• Must be available for overtime as required.
• Candidates who cannot work variable shifts will not be considered.
