About the Position
Harris Health is seeking a Supervisor, Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care while utilizing advanced interventional radiology equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Working the day shift, you will perform specialized imaging procedures, ensure the safe operation of IR equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements
- Education:
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board
- Current CPR certification
- ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography certification preferred
- Interventional Radiology (IR) certification preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Communication Skills:
- Above Average Verbal (heavy public contact)
- Strong written communication (correspondence and reports)
- Technical Skills:
- Analytical skills
- Computer proficiency
- Medical terminology knowledge
