Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua'i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua'i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island's Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai'i. Our Perioperative Services department provides full support throughout the duration of a patients surgical procedure, spanning ward admission, anesthesia, surgery and recovery. Professional care services include identification of the patient's individual needs, patient care plan development and implementation and the coordination of nursing service to restore each patient's health before, during and after a surgical procedure.

If you have exceptional organizational and people management skills, you could be the ideal person for our Clinical Services Supervisor position, where you will manage staff, oversee daily operations and ensure quality patient care at our Perioperative Services department. We are looking for someone with demonstrated interpersonal and leadership talent, the ability to create a collaborative work environment, and a commitment to helping us deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawaii RN License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Three (3) years clinical experience with concentration in area of specialty. One (1) year charge nurse or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or related field and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current national certification in area of specialty.
