Workplace Type: Hybrid Job DescriptionProvide leadership and oversight across multiple accounting functions supporting Pizza Hut, including lease accounting, project costing, equity revenue, and property and sales tax compliance. Ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and high-quality service delivery through effective review, governance, and process leadership.ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting OversightReview and approve period-end close deliverables, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysesEnsure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with accounting policies and internal control requirementsOversee lease and equity revenue accounting, including key estimates and judgmentsSupport audit readiness through review of documentation and coordination of requestsProject Costing & Capital Management OversightOversee project costing activities to ensure compliance with capitalization policies and accounting standardsReview reconciliations and capital accounting outputs for accuracy and completenessProvide monitoring and oversight of CAPEX reporting processesTax Compliance Oversight (Property & Sales Tax)Oversee compliance with property and sales tax regulations, including filings and paymentsReview tax-related accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentationCoordinate responses to audits and inquiries with internal teams and external advisorsControls, Risk & Process LeadershipMaintain strong internal control frameworks across all areas of responsibilityEstablish and execute effective review controls and escalation processesIdentify risks and drive remediation and process improvementsChampion continuous improvement and system enhancementsPeople LeadershipLead, develop, and manage a team of accounting professionals across multiple functionsDrive accountability for quality, timeliness, and control executionFoster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvementQualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferredExperience: 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; leadership experience required; experience overseeing accounting processes and internal controlsSkills: Strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel, ERP (Oracle/JDE preferred) experience, strong communication, ability to manage priorities and drive results through othersSalary Range: $80,300 to $94,300 annually + bonus eligibility.
