Supplier Quality Engineer

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Supplier Quality Engineer job in Menomonee Falls, WI. This DIRECT hire job is available with one of our key customers in the defense industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of purchased items used in product development and driving quality process and quality system improvements. In order to be successful in this position, you must have two plus years of quality experience, US Citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. Preference will be given to someone with ISO standards, Six Sigma, and military specification experience.

Supplier Quality Engineer Job responsibilities:

• Drive supplier development and continuous improvement, including on-site audits, prototype evaluations, and approval of supplier corrective actions.
• Develop and deploy quality plans, procedures, and schedules that translate customer and program requirements into planned activities.
• Review and approve engineering, test, and contractor documentation to ensure quality requirements are addressed.
• Lead product quality improvement teams and Material Review Boards, and participate in Failure Review Boards.
• Support assembly, test, and inspection teams with inspection methods, sampling plans, specification updates, and non-conforming material processing.
• Perform internal audits, drive root cause corrective actions, and generate statistical reports on inspection and test results.
• Evaluate the precision and accuracy of production, test, and measurement equipment while weighing the financial impact of quality controls.

Qualifications:

• Two plus years of quality experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance required
• Experience with ISO standards, Six Sigma tools, and statistics
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret military specifications
• Strong root cause analysis, negotiation, communication, and writing skills

This direct hire Supplier Quality Engineer job is based in Menomonee Falls, WI. The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 - $100,000.
