Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL - Loop

Schedule: Hybrid

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $75,000-$85,000 annualized, based on experience

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst for a temporary opportunity with a company located in Chicago's Loop. This position will support supply chain operations by analyzing data, monitoring inventory and vendor performance, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain, inventory, purchasing, and operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Monitor inventory levels, demand, lead times, and product availability

• Track and evaluate supplier and vendor performance

• Assist with forecasting, planning, and inventory optimization

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and data analysis for leadership and internal teams

• Partner with procurement, operations, finance, and other departments to support supply chain initiatives

• Identify potential supply chain risks, delays, and process inefficiencies

• Maintain accurate data within ERP and supply chain systems

• Support additional supply chain projects and reporting needs as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred

• Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics, or a related analytical role

• Strong Excel skills, including experience working with large data sets

• ERP experience preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments
