Supply Chain Analyst I

Summary:

• Location: Worcester Plant

Responsibilities:

• Operate necessary conveyors and/or forklift to unload completed products from final assembly lines to stage in the shipping department.
• Transport materials within multiple work cells and operate hand or fork trucks to move materials.
• Select carriers, schedule carriers, and expedite/de-expedite shipments.
• Work with government (MTMC) to arrange ocean shipping and complete all required documentation.
• Provide routine transportation/specialized service quotations to the sales force.
• Create export documentation (commercial invoices, shipper's export declaration, dock receipts, etc.) as needed for each shipment.
• Inspect and transact incoming materials.
• Perform daily cycle count of inventory and investigate root cause of discrepancies.
• Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve internal issues, delivery issues, and transportation information.
• Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S.
• Assist the team in achieving plant and department goals.
• Provide on-the-job training and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals.

Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of 1-year supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Outlook, Lotus Notes, AS400 MRP, and Excel Pivot Tables.

Preferred Skills:

• Associate degree with an emphasis on Supply Chain Management.
• Previous experience in logistics.
• Working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and facilitate resolution.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
• Effective communication skills across all levels.
