    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations and logistics of a large fleet of railcars, tank trucks, and dry vans.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
    • of chemical products.
    • Manage relationships with transportation providers and negotiate contracts to secure the best
    • rates and services.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards related to the transport of
    • chemicals.
    • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and
    • implement corrective actions.
    • Develop and maintain logistics documentation, including shipping schedules, delivery records,
    • and regulatory compliance reports.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, including the adoption of new technologies
    • and best practices.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous
    • improvement and operational excellence.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives and drive strategic
    • projects.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related
    • field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, with a focus on the
    • chemical industry.
    • Proven experience managing the operations of railcars.
    • Understanding of chemical transportation regulations and safety standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Proficient in logistics management software and tools.
    • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective
    • relationships with stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
    • simultaneously.
    • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends and best
    • practices.
