ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager to own how product gets planned, ordered, received and kept in stock, and to help shape how our supply chain is built for the next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on role with a defined path. You will start by running the planning and ordering cycle. As you earn it, you will take on supplier strategy, mid-level vendor negotiations and the annual supply plan, working directly with the CEO and the leadership team. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own inventory planning and monthly ordering, including forecasts, reorder points and purchase orders within approved limits. 
• Manage supplier, frieghy and fulfillment relationships to track orders, resolve delays and maintain reliable delivery. 
• Recommend timely ordering, expediting and deferral decisions to maintain target inventory levels and support cash planning with Finance. 
• Report weekly on inventory, supplier performance and availability risks; document processes for consistent execution. 
• Expand vendor negotiations on pricing, terms, lead times and capacity; develop additional suppliers to reduce reliance on single sources. 
• Build the annual supply plan and rolling 12-month outlook with Finance and Sales. 
• Prepare supplier agreements for CEO approval and lead supply chain decisions in monthly planning reviews. 
• Coach others on planning tools and, as the company grows, build and lead a small supply chain team. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-8 years in supply chain, purchasing, demand planning or inventory management, ideally in physical consumer products. 
• Experience with overseas or multi-party supply (contract manfuacturers, imports, freight) and with both DTC and wholesale demand. 
• Comfort building and using forecasts and planning models in Excel or a similar tool; strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication - you can explain a tradeoff to a CEO in two sentences and negotiate with a supplier in a meeting. 
• Judgement in an environment where processes are still being built. You document what you do and improve it. 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with relevant certification, such as CSCP or CPIM, as a plus.  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform primarily sedentary work, including extended periods using a computer and phone. 
• Ability to communicate frequently with vendors and co-workers, whether verbally or electronically. 
• Ability to occassionally lift or move materials weighin up to 20 pounds.
