Our client is looking to add a Supply Chain Manager to their growing team.
-Manage, evaluate and coach team
-Establish goals and metrics for team and track progress
-Maintain inventory levels and ensure on-time production
-Continue programs that explore new suppliers and processes to achieve optimum quality, reliability, prices, and delivery
-Provide management team with accurate data to drive continuous improvement and decisions
-Remain current on industry trends
-Manage GIDEP
-Manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, track quality/price/delivery metrics
-Modify processes for shipping, receiving, transport, and inventory control to reduce waste
-Ensure company standards are met
Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree
-At least 5 years of experience the contract manufacturing industry, preferably electronics manufacturing
-Prior supervisory experience
-Strong people management skills
-Strong working experience in logistics, inventory control, MRP, supply chain, contract negotiations and purchasing
-Proficiency in MS Excel and Access
-Strong attention to detail
-Understanding of forecasting and budgeting
-Strong communication skills
