Inventory & Warehouse Operations

  • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and cycle count programs.
  • Implement best practices for material handling, storage, and inventory optimization.
  • Ensure materials are available to support production schedules while minimizing excess inventory.

Material Planning & Logistics

  • Manage material planning processes to prevent shortages and production disruptions.
  • Coordinate transportation, freight, and logistics activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements.
  • Partner with production and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Lead ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support material tracking improvements through barcode, QR code, or similar technologies.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, inventory turnover, and purchasing effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide leadership and direction to purchasing, warehouse, and inventory personnel.
  • Establish department goals and performance expectations.
