Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; occasional evening and weekend support based on business needs

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to support order fulfillment, logistics, inventory coordination, customer operations, and reporting.

This role is a key connection point between customers, field operations, logistics providers, accounting, and internal business teams. You'll help ensure orders and products move efficiently from initial request through delivery while maintaining accurate records, communicating status updates, and resolving issues along the way.

The ideal candidate has experience in supply chain, logistics, order management, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

This position is initially a temporary backfill assignment with the potential to become permanent based on future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Order Fulfillment

• Enter, process, and track customer orders from initiation through completion.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound product deliveries.

• Monitor order status to support accurate and on-time fulfillment.

• Maintain accurate inventory and order records.

• Partner with field teams to monitor onsite inventory levels and product usage.

• Support anticipated customer demand and future product requirements.

Logistics & Operations Coordination

• Coordinate with internal operations teams and third-party providers to support on-time product delivery.

• Support logistics activities across multiple job sites and regions.

• Track deliveries and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Investigate product, delivery, and service issues and coordinate timely resolutions.

• Escalate critical issues when necessary to minimize operational disruptions.

Customer & Cross-Functional Support

• Serve as a key point of contact between customers, field operations, logistics, accounting, and other internal teams.

• Provide timely updates regarding orders, deliveries, inventory, and job status.

• Develop strong customer relationships through responsive, solutions-focused service.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and operational activities.

Planning & Reporting

• Track and report job status, product usage, inventory trends, and anticipated demand.

• Maintain accurate information within CRM and ERP systems.

• Assist with demand planning and opportunity management.

• Support quote development and sales-related activities as needed.

• Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, customer complaints, corrective actions, and service performance.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Follow established supply chain, procurement, and operational processes.

• Help identify opportunities to improve service procedures and workflows.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records.

• Support applicable compliance and procurement requirements.

• Collaborate across departments to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of customer service experience.

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, order fulfillment, distribution, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Preferred

• Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems.

• Knowledge of inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and demand planning processes.

• Experience within manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or distribution environments.

• Familiarity with procurement requirements, compliance standards, and SOX-related processes.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
