Job Description

Oracle is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Senior Director to lead strategic sourcing across critical Power and Interconnect categories supporting our infrastructure platforms.

This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure the timely, cost-effective availability of production materials while supporting requirements across cost, capacity, inventory, quality, and supply continuity. The position will lead strategic supplier selection, negotiations, business awards, supplier development, and performance management across power systems, printed circuit boards (PCBs), cabling, and interconnect technologies.

The Supply Chain Senior Director will lead a team of Sourcing Managers, provide broader leadership across related mechanical sourcing activities, and work closely with Engineering, Finance, Planning, Quality, and other organizations to support new platforms and scalable infrastructure growth. This role requires strong functional expertise, commercial judgment, executive influence, and demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle''s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies across Power categories, including power supply units (PSUs), PowerShelf, power distribution units (PDUs), and power converters, as well as Interconnect categories including PCBs and cabling.
  • Lead supplier assessment, selection, negotiations, business awards, supplier development, and ongoing supplier performance management.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships that support competitive commercial outcomes, capacity requirements, quality, and continuity of supply.
  • Partner across Engineering, Finance, Planning, Quality, and other organizations to align sourcing and supplier decisions with business and infrastructure requirements.
  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective availability of production materials while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement sourcing policies, procedures, material controls, and scalable solutions that reduce costs and streamline execution.
  • Coordinate global sourcing and procurement activities and engage internal and external stakeholders on complex commercial, supply, and supplier matters.
  • Lead, develop, and evaluate Sourcing Managers while creating an organization capable of effectively executing across multiple strategic categories.
  • Provide broader leadership across related mechanical sourcing activities.
  • Interact with internal and external executive management and lead negotiations on difficult and complex matters.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related function, with demonstrated leadership of complex sourcing categories.
  • Strong category, product, and supplier-market knowledge within Power, Interconnect, or related hardware technologies.
  • Experience with supplier selection, supplier relationship management, contracting, commercial negotiations, supplier development, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies that balance cost, capacity, quality, inventory, and continuity of supply.
  • Strong commercial judgment and experience navigating complex supplier and business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across technical, operational, and financial organizations and influence senior and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including experience leading and developing sourcing or supply chain teams.
  • Functional expertise and broad business knowledge with the ability to translate business and technology requirements into sourcing strategies.
  • BS or MS degree, or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.
