Supply Management Planner II

Description:

Position Summary

·         Manage the day-to-day performance and relationships of assigned suppliers across multiple commodities.

·         Support factory operations by ensuring timely delivery of purchased parts.

·         Work with suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and overall supply performance.

·         Manage suppliers across one or more locations, supporting both internal and external supply needs.

Key Responsibilities

·         Execute supply chain planning activities within established systems and processes.

·         Maintain daily communication with business-critical suppliers.

·         Resolve complex supplier or supply issues and analyze supplier performance.

·         Monitor and report key supplier management indicators.

·         Collect information on: Cost drivers, Market conditions, Supply issues, Innovation opportunities, Alternative suppliers

·         Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

·         Monitor contract performance and provide information for contract negotiations and renewals.

·         Manage site/factory inventory and resolve discrepancies following established procedures.

·         Coordinate meetings, actions, and events with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Manage and oversee the delivery of purchased parts.

·         Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
