What You’ll Do:
  • Manage complex post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery cases
  • Conduct daily assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adult patients
  • Proficiently manage arrhythmias, pacemakers, volume, electrolyte abnormalities, and infection surveillance
  • Support with chest tube management, wound care, and surgical drain removal
  • Collaborate with the cardiac surgical team and multi-disciplinary staff to coordinate care and discharge planning
  • Recognize clinical deterioration and escalate care in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed documentation using EPIC and Sectra systems


What You Need:
  • Current Missouri license as an NP or PA
  • Board certification in specialty
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience, specifically with cardiac surgery patients and trauma level I settings
  • Key skills: comprehensive patient management in high-acuity environment, autonomous practice, excellent communication, professionalism
