What You’ll Do:- Manage complex post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery cases
- Conduct daily assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adult patients
- Proficiently manage arrhythmias, pacemakers, volume, electrolyte abnormalities, and infection surveillance
- Support with chest tube management, wound care, and surgical drain removal
- Collaborate with the cardiac surgical team and multi-disciplinary staff to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Recognize clinical deterioration and escalate care in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed documentation using EPIC and Sectra systems
What You Need:- Current Missouri license as an NP or PA
- Board certification in specialty
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience, specifically with cardiac surgery patients and trauma level I settings
- Key skills: comprehensive patient management in high-acuity environment, autonomous practice, excellent communication, professionalism
