Job Summary:

Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a full time or part time trauma surgeon board certified or board eligible in surgical critical care and/or trauma for a Level II trauma hospital.
Qualified Candidates:

  • Board certified in general surgery and board certified/board eligible in surgical critical care and/or trauma  
  • New Graduates welcome to apply
  • Eligible for License to practice in the state of Texas
  • ATLS certified required
  • Full Time 15 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
  • Part Time 5-10 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
  • APP support provided
  • 2022 Registry Volume 2268, Trauma Admissions 1366, Blunt 93%, Penetrating 6%.
  • Avg. 3.8 trauma alerts per day
