Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to support surgeons during operative procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and surgical safety.
Job Description:
- Assist surgeons before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
- Support patient positioning, tissue handling, and wound closure as directed.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current CFA, CSA, or Assistant in Surgery Certification (NBSTSA, NSAA, ABSA, or NASC).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of First Assistant/Surgical Assistant experience preferred.
