Pay Range: $75,000-$95,000 Per Year
Description:
• This full-time Surgical/Operating Room Technician role is based in Jersey City, NJ, requiring onsite presence.
• The position involves assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring sterile conditions, and maintaining medical supplies.
• The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Requirements:
• Experience in perioperative practice and surgical procedures.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Proficiency in handling and sterilizing surgical instruments.
• Capability to work collaboratively with medical staff.
• Strong communication skills for patient and staff interactions.
• Knowledge of safety measures including infection control.
• Experience in maintaining medical stock and reporting equipment issues.
Qualifications:
• Certification as a Surgical Technician or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Familiarity with continuous quality improvement practices.
• Ability to adhere to dress code and patient relations standards.
• Experience in assisting with patient transfers and post-operative care.
• Proficient in using medical equipment and following clinical procedures.
• Commitment to ongoing education and training.
