Surgical Technician

A hospital outside Butte, Montana is seeking a Surgical Technician to join its Peri-Operative Services team! 

Pay:$22.37-$29.82 / hourly 

Surgical Technician Opportunity: 

• Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position 
  
• Monday-Friday schedule, five 8-hour day shifts 
  
• On-call rotation approximately once every three weeks

Surgical Technician Responsibilities: 

• Prepare surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures 
  
• Maintain sterile technique and protect the surgical field throughout procedures 
  
• Anticipate surgeon needs and assist during operative procedures 
  
• Support the perioperative nursing team to ensure safe and efficient patient care 
  
• Maintain surgical readiness and compliance with established policies and procedures 
  

Surgical Technician Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required 
  
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required 
  
• NBSTSA Surgical Technologist certification preferred 
  
• BLS certification required 
  
• Medical terminology and electronic medical record experience preferred
