Job Purpose or Objective(s): As a Surgical Technician, you will assist the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures and ensures operating site is adequately prepared for procedures. You will report to the Unit Manager.

PG09- Full Time | Surgery Center- Durant Clinic | Schedule: Monday- Friday 6:45am-3:15pm |

Primary Tasks:

• Set-up, scrub, and prepare room with medical instruments, suture, supplies and equipment for each surgical procedure.
• Position, prep, and drape patient for surgical procedure.
• Monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies.
• Clean all surgical instruments per hospital policy and deliver to central sterile.
• Complete operating room count with circulator (instruments, sponges, needles, etc.), follow proper procedures in case of incorrect count, report all discrepancies to circulating nurse and surgeon and/or correct immediately.
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

• High School Graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current CPR certification
