Schedule
- Shift: 3 x 12-hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
- Call: Once per week and every 6th weekend
- Hours: 36 40/week
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team, assists with surgical procedures by preparing and handling instruments, supplies, and equipment. Supports patient care, maintains a safe surgical environment, and anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and supplies
- Assist during surgical procedures
- Ensure operating room readiness and equipment functionality
- Support patient preparation and transport
- Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Surgical Technologist experience
- Previous travel experience preferred
