Shift Hours: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Required Skills & Experience:- Minimum 1 year of strong recent Surgical Technician experience
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- BLS Certification through AHA
Job Description:- Assist the surgical team during operative procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse and other surgical team members.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields throughout surgical procedures.
- Handle, organize, and pass surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during operations.
- Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly before procedures begin.
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other surgical team members during procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning prior to surgery.
- Support patient transport activities and provide assistance with perioperative patient care needs.
- Assist with operating room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations according to established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Call Requirement: Once per week and every 6th weekend
