Job Overview
Fairview has an immediate opening for a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room at Fairview Southdale Hospital located in Edina, MN.
As a Surgical Technologist, you'll assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, arranging and passing instruments to surgeons, and ensuring a sterile environment under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the surgical team and maintaining the safety and efficiency of the operating room.
Schedule: This position will be working 0.8 FTE (64 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 8 hours on the day/evening/night shift. This position will also work every third weekend.

As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for:
Required Qualifications:
Complete one of the following by hire date:
Military Surgical Assistant; OR
LPN (licensed in MN) Surgical Assistant; OR
Surgical Technologist training
Basic Life Support (BLS) through Health Care Providers (or ability to obtain by hire date)
