Surgical Technologist - Pediatric Operating Room

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Contract Dates: 11/17/2026 - 02/20/2027
• Shift Times: 12 hour weekend Days Fri/Sat/Sun (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Scrub for high-risk spine, neuro trauma, and craniotomy for tumor cases.
• Assist in ortho-spine, neuro, and complex Level 1 trauma cases.

Requirements:

• Education: AST
• Licensure/Certification: Surgical Tech
• Experience in a pediatric Level 1 trauma center
• Required Certifications: CST, BLS
• On Call Requirement: 2-3 call shifts in an 8-week schedule period
• Must be available to work both day and night shifts as needed to support unit needs

Preferred Skills:

• Pediatric experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required

Additional Notes:

• RTO: Not approved within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Vaccination Exemption: Medical and religious exemptions for the seasonal influenza vaccine are allowed
