    Pay: $50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

    Location

    This is an on-site role based in the Chicago area, offering close collaboration with field crews, operations, and project teams in a practical construction environment.

    Note: Must have direct experience using CAD for surveying, civil, land development, or closely related drafting work. Candidates without relevant Survey CAD or Civil CAD drafting experience will not be considered.

    Job Description

    • Prepare and revise survey and construction-related CAD drawings based on field data, sketches, and project requirements
    • Process survey information into clear, accurate plans and supporting documents
    • Support layout, topographic, boundary, as-built, and construction drafting needs as required
    • Coordinate with survey crews, project teams, and operations to ensure drawings align with field conditions and project scope
    • Maintain drawing files, revisions, and documentation in an organized manner
    • Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before finalizing deliverables
    • Help support project execution by producing dependable drafting work on schedule
    • Assist with updates, redlines, revisions, and other drafting needs tied to active jobs

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of directly relevant Survey CAD, Civil CAD, or land surveying drafting experience
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
    • Experience working with survey data, field notes, and technical drawings
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to drafting accuracy
    • Able to work closely with field and office teams
    • Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing deadlines
