Survey CAD Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic mathematics calculations (pipeslopes, areas, volumes, etc.)
• Detail/develop construction plans
• Maintain uniformity in work products byreading/following CAD Standards and Operating Procedures (standards,conventions, guidelines)
• Review/check plans for accuracy
• Provide an estimate of man hours required tocomplete CAD projects
• Process engineering calculations and siteplan/utility layout with minimal supervision
• Process existing/proposed profiles
• Plot legal descriptions for parcels, easement,and right of ways
• Import survey data into Civil 3D
• Produce boundary, topographical, ALTA and as-builtsurveys
• Generate stake-out coordinates/plot informationfor field crew

Requirements:

• High school diploma or minimum of five years ofcivil engineering/surveying computer aided drafting experience
• Associates degree preferred
• 2+ years of professional CAD experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015, MicrostationV8, and GeoPAK preferred
• Ability to use station offset methods to setpoints
• Solid understanding of metric system withability to convert between metric and English
• Experience reading/comprehending simpleinstructions, correspondence and memos
• Experience presenting information to in one-on-oneand small group settings
