Oxford Solutions is working with a civil engineering consulting firm seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field surveying operations. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong technical surveying skills and experience managing field crews.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily field surveying activities.
- Perform boundary, topographic, construction stakeout, and as-built surveys.
- Operate and maintain total stations, GPS equipment, data collectors, and other surveying instruments.
- Complete field calculations, measurements, and accurate survey documentation.
- Interpret construction drawings, site plans, legal descriptions, and survey records.
- Establish and verify survey control points and ensure accuracy of field data.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 8+ years of land surveying experience, including field crew leadership.
- Strong knowledge of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout.
- Proficiency with surveying equipment, field calculations, and data collection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and survey documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying field conditions.
- Professional surveying license not required.
