We’re looking for an experienced Surveying & Geomatics Project Manager to lead field crews and technical staff supporting public and private-sector land development projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a surveying group while staying connected to clients, projects, and the technical side of the work.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage survey crews, technicians, and office staff across multiple projects.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee surveying projects from initial scope through completion.

• Manage project schedules, contracts, budgets, billing, and resource allocation.

• Serve as a key client contact and build relationships with developers, organizations, and public officials.

• Review and approve survey deliverables, timesheets, and project billing.

• Develop creative solutions for complex or unique surveying challenges.

• Prepare proposals and contribute to business development and future project opportunities.

• Mentor and support the professional growth of surveying staff.

What You Bring

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in North Carolina preferred.

• 3+ years of progressive surveying management experience; residential/commercial development experience is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of survey computations, platting, and GPS/GNSS technology.

• Proficiency with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Hands-on experience with Trimble survey equipment and field data management.

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Access or Google Earth is a plus.
