We're looking for a Surveyor (PLS) to join the HMB team in Nashville, TN!

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage surveying projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure.
Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
Manage project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and permits.
Conduct fieldwork when necessary, providing technical oversight and guidance.
Ensure the safety of all team members and compliance with safety regulations in the field.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
8+ years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on transportation projects.
Tennessee Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
Proficiency with surveying equipment and software, including MicroStation, ORD, and Civil 3D.
Strong understanding of transportation design and survey requirements.
Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
