Looking for a skilled Sushi Chef to prepare fresh sushi at a supermarket

Responsibilities: Prepare high-quality nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls

Select, handle, and breakdown fresh fish

Properly Maintain clean workstation and follow food safety / hygiene

Prepare sushi rice, sauces, and garnishes from scratch

Customize menu based on preferences / allergies

Requirements: 2+ years experience as sushi chef

Excellent knife skills and presentation

Knowledge of fish freshness, storage, and sourcing

Reliable, punctual, clean Food handler certification a plus

Nice to have: Experience with kosher-style or dietary restrictions

Can do hibachi / Japanese small plates

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday full day Fridays 1pm, Saturday night is a plus with bonus pay
