Sustainability Analyst

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Sustainability Analyst to support initiatives across GHG accounting and reporting, sustainable packaging, and event sustainability. This role combines sustainability expertise with hands-on data collection, analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Support GHG accounting and carbon footprint reporting, including data collection, validation, aggregation, and reporting for Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
• Support sustainable packaging and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements, including packaging data validation, registrations, regulatory reporting, and fee calculations.
• Monitor applicable packaging regulations and research sustainable packaging alternatives.
• Support sustainability initiatives for events and media productions, including energy efficiency, waste diversion, circular materials, logistics, and fan travel.
• Track and summarize sustainability KPIs, including waste diversion rates and emissions per attendee.
• Work with Data, IT, event, and production teams to improve data quality, reporting processes, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, carbon accounting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of GHG accounting and the GHG Protocol, including Scope 1, 2, and 3.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills with the ability to collect, validate, summarize, and present data.
• Working knowledge of EPR, sustainable packaging, or environmental regulations is preferred.
• Experience with event sustainability, food & beverage, CPG, or media production is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to manage reporting deadlines.
• Experience with sustainability reporting platforms such as Metrio is a plus, but not required.
• SQL or Python experience is helpful but not required.

Job Type: 1-year contract with potential for extension.
