The Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development will serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO, helping to define the Company’s strategic direction, identify key growth opportunities for PAVmed Inc. (the “Company”), and drive initiatives that advance the Company’s long-term growth objectives. This role will lead the development and execution of key strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth, business expansion, and enterprise value creation. Working closely with the executive and senior leadership teams, the SVP will identify and evaluate critical strategic opportunities, define key business questions, scope and lead analyses, allocate resources, oversee execution, and communicate findings and recommendations to executive management. The SVP will play a key leadership role in developing the analytics, insights, and strategic frameworks necessary to establish and continuously refine the Company’s growth strategy. This includes providing clear, data-driven recommendations that enable the executive management team to make informed go/no-go decisions regarding strategic opportunities, investments, partnerships, and other growth initiatives. As a key resource on strategy, growth, and innovation, the SVP will help shape and implement the overall direction of the business while ensuring strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
Additionally, the SVP will partner closely with the CEO to develop, capture, and continuously refine the Company’s messaging regarding its business, strategy, growth plans, and value proposition. This includes ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling communication across multiple channels to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, employees, investors, partners, and other key audiences. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives across commercial, marketing, innovation, finance, operations, and other functions to evaluate business and market opportunities and translate those opportunities into prioritized, actionable growth plans.
- Partner with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team (ELT and SLT) to establish strategic priorities, define goals, allocate resources, and drive the execution of key initiatives aligned with the Company’s overall strategic plan.
- Lead the development and evaluation of strategic growth opportunities using rigorous business, market, competitive, financial, and operational analysis to identify key value drivers, risks, and requirements for successful execution.
- Champion strategic opportunities across the organization, building cross-functional alignment, identifying critical business needs, and proactively addressing challenges and barriers to execution.
- Apply strategic thinking and analytical rigor to complex and ambiguous business challenges, leveraging market, channel, competitive, financial, customer, brand, and organizational insights to develop actionable recommendations.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence leaders across the organization to facilitate the successful implementation and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Partner directly with the ELT and SLT to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, licensing and acquisition opportunities, strategic partnerships, corporate development activities, and corporate communications.
- Serve, in partnership with the CEO, as a key steward of the Company’s strategic narrative, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s business, strategy, growth priorities, and value proposition.
- Partner closely with the CEO to develop and maintain key corporate communications materials, including investor presentations, Board materials, press releases, prepared remarks for quarterly earnings calls, corporate presentations, and other strategic communications.
- Work closely with the CEO to source, assess, and pursue corporate development opportunities, including M&A, licensing, and strategic partnerships. Lead initial opportunity assessments, coordinate cross-functional due diligence, and partner with the CEO, General Counsel, and other ELT and SLT members throughout the transaction process.
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, and COO during annual and mid-year budgeting and planning processes to ensure resource allocation is aligned with the Company’s strategic priorities and growth plans.
- Collaborate with ELT and SLT members to ensure key internal and external communications are aligned with the Company’s overall strategy, positioning, and messaging.
- Partner with Investor Relations to ensure communications with institutional investors and the broader investment community appropriately and consistently reflect the Company’s strategic narrative.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial execution, corporate strategy, business development, management consulting, growth strategy, transformation, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute enterprise-level strategies and translate strategic priorities into actionable business plans.
- Strong strategic and analytical problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to structure and evaluate complex or ambiguous business opportunities.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to understand key business drivers, evaluate market dynamics, and develop strategies responsive to specific business needs.
- Experience evaluating strategic transactions, partnerships, licensing opportunities, M&A, or other corporate development initiatives preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex business, financial, market, competitive, and third-party industry data into clear insights and executive-level recommendations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling executive, Board, investor, and corporate communications.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build alignment across senior leadership and cross-functional teams without relying on direct authority.
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, including high-priority projects with short timelines and evolving requirements.
